This image captures a woman in ski gear smiling for a selfie on a bright, sunny day in the mountains. She’s wearing a helmet and turquoise ski goggles, with snow-covered peaks stretching out behind her under a vivid blue sky. It’s a classic moment of joy during a winter adventure, high above the alpine terrain.

Hi, I’m Gayle — the creator behind Snowflakes and City Lights.

This site is for families who want to plan multi-city trips without turning their holiday into a logistics headache.

Our favourite trips are the ones with side trips built in, exploring multiple cities in one country or connecting several countries across Asia. My family has spent nearly two decades crafting our itineraries to create the exact holidays we want, and I’ve come to love the planning as much as the travel itself. I plan trips this way because it keeps things flexible, avoids rigid schedules, and makes it easier to adjust once you’re on the ground.

If you love the idea of a bigger trip, and seeing more in your limited time, but get stuck on the logistics (Which cities actually make sense together? How do we get from A to B to C?), that’s exactly what I’m here for. I genuinely love the planning puzzle, and I created Snowflakes and City Lights to share the research, routing, and real-world tips that make complex trips feel doable.
